What an Honor

>> Monday, January 10, 2011

I am very honored to be the featured seller in the selection perfection treasury challenge. It is a team I joined and my sister is our fearless leader. :-) If you win the challenge you can be the next featured seller which I totally love. I am copying the post but you can enter by clicking HERE

Welcome to our new Seller Treasury Challenge. Here's how it works: you may pick ANY item out of ClaireandJanae's shop and build a Selection Perfection Treasury featuring it. Please feature the item you select somewhere in the top 3 rows, not the "alternate" fourth row.

ClaireandJanae is featured this week because her treasury with LovesGarden was awesome. Also, she tagged her entry properly, which many people forgot to do! (Oops! Please tag things this week!)

Here are the rules/details for the challenge:

1. Each treasury must feature 6 Selection Perfection team members.
2. Anyone with an Etsy account can join in on the fun, whether they are on the team or not. It is not mandatory for the team members. You may enter multiple times if you wish.
3. Please follow our team blog if you enter.
4. Please tag the Treasury: "SelectPerfect"
5. Please tag the Treasury: "SPChallenge"
6. Please tag the Treasury: "ClaireandJanae"
7. Please include the words "Treasury Challenge" in the treasury title and include a link back to this blog entry in your comments; this is Very important, so please read it again! (Some people have been forgetting this.)
8. Come back to this blog and include a link to your treasury in the comments section of this blog entry.
9. This challenge ends January 13, 2011 at midnight, CST.
10. The winner will be the Featured Seller for the next Seller Treasury Challenge.

Good Luck and have fun! Convo me with any questions through Etsy.

- Rachelle

Fly Away Home 14 of 31

It all started with my suggested shops. What a pretty dress- and one of the things had wings which made me think- maybe I could make a treasury with wings.
I wonder what wings would feel like- I wore some for Halloween and kept bumping in to things.

What a great Day- November is coming. I went trick or treating with my kids which was fantastic! The neighbors had a fire pit on their porch which was a great idea- and it even snowed a tiny bit. Luckily it didn't stick.

Treasury Challenge Week 17

>> Monday, October 25, 2010

This treasury challenge is centered around one item and has been around for more than four months. (Ok I took a few weeks off in the middle there) I am pretty proud of our little group of people who feature each other. Each week the winner of the previous week picks their favorite treasury (or if they can't be reached I pick it or ask a random twitter friend to pick it). that person gets an e-gift card to Amazon.com for 10 dollars and gets featured the next week. You have a week to make as many treasuries as you want and the next day we start a new challenge.

The Winner: FionaDesigns
after a little discussion on twitter we picked this as the item of the week:

I do love traveling. Are you ready for the Challenge? Here are the rules

1. Please follow my blog.
2. Feature the item of the week in the first three rows of the treasury- the fourth row is an "alternate row."
3. Tag the item "treasurychallenge"
4. Tag the item "week 17"
5. Tag the item "bon voyage"
6. Link back to this challenge in the comments section of your treasury
7. Include "Treasury Challenge week 17" in The title
8. Comment on this post with a link to your treasury on etsy.

Suggestions:
  • Please share it with your friends on etsy and facebook and twitter (and all your glorious blogs etc.)
  • Make multiple treasuries
  • If you refer someone (who says you did in the comments here) and they win- you both get the prize. For your awesomeness.

please comment on the treasury HERE (but in three years it will disappear so please comment soon)

how I get the image: I press CTRL and PrtSc (the Print Screen Button) Then I open paint and press CTRL V to paste it. I save the file as a picture- then open Microsoft Office Picture and edit it. -and in those three easy steps I have the picture ready for uploading to blogger!

About This Blog

I am a stay at home mom with a little bit of a fabric habit. I like selling things on etsy to see if other people like the same things I make. I have two adorable kiddos and my husband is in medical school. So when the children go to bed and husband is still away studying, I use my lovely pfaff and bring myself to cut up the fabric I adore so much.
This blog helps motivate me to get things done.
