Keep Calm and Knit On

>> Wednesday, January 27, 2010

I personally don't know how to knit. Once I went out and bought all the supplies to start knitting. Then I had a baby two weeks later. That was Danielle and I never started knitting after that. But someone asked me to make a custom tote bag for knitting. What a clever idea she had! The print was a little darker than I thought it would be so I might have to order it again. But I tried a few different places to take photos. It's hard to get a good photo of a tote bag. I hope to make my home photo worthy one day.
If you need a knitting bag look in my shop here.

SnapClean Kaffe Fasset Kitchen Towels

>> Thursday, January 7, 2010

Sara helped me design kitchen towels and one of the latest projects was making a bunch of them. I would like to officially list Kitchen towels as an item that is hard to photograph. These towels have a circle of fabric appliqued to flour sack towels. We added a loop to hang the towels on a hook. Then Sara pointed out that it is nice to have a towel on the oven door. This way your towels won't be constantly falling on the floor or be absconded by a toddler on the run.
I listed a set in my etsy shop.

Claire and Me Designs: Cards for Christmas!

>> Friday, December 11, 2009

I wish this card also talked about presents somehow. What is a good slogan for a card. Next year I should make a card with something about the season of giving. I am of course the best person to give things to.

really- sometimes visiting family is a visit to the crazy train. Gossip, bad choices, and people you wouldn't hang out with is part of every family gathering. No offense but this escalates with marriage. My family may be crazy but I am used to it.

I thought I should also post some of the stuff from my design shop. I designed Holiday Cards. Unfortunately I will probably only be able to list them for sale next holiday season.

About This Blog

I am a stay at home mom with a little bit of a fabric habit. I like selling things on etsy to see if other people like the same things I make. I have two adorable kiddos and my husband is in medical school. So when the children go to bed and husband is still away studying, I use my lovely pfaff and bring myself to cut up the fabric I adore so much.
This blog helps motivate me to get things done.
